Does the build succeed if you do a straightforward

   git clone http://git.ipxe.org/wimboot.git
   cd wimboot/src
   make

I don't have an Arch system available, but the build succeeds on a clean 
Fedora 27 with gcc 7.2.1, as well as on my usual gcc 6.3.1 system.
