We don't directly require libiberty.  From commit

   http://git.ipxe.org/ipxe.git/commitdiff/7d36a1b

it seems that we have previously encountered systems where linking 
against libbfd required us to also link against libiberty.

This was back in 2008, and it's possible that such systems are no longer 
relevant.  We could potentially remove the -liberty and see if anyone 
complains.
