I found the error, the Linux RHEL image does not have iSCSI boot and a mapping.

Subject: EC2 iPXE boot of iSCSI Lun (complete message with attachment)
Hello,
I am trying to get a iPXE 1 GB instance to boot from an iSCSI volume.
The iSCSI volume has RHEL on it (I used dd to copy it from an EBS instance onto the FSxN ISCSI volume).
If I attach the EBS device to an instance, it boots just fine. I can see the partitions and MBR on the iSCSI volume, which I have mounted to a temp server just to investigate.
My iPXE user data script is as follows;
#!ipxe
set initiator-iqn iqn.2010-04.org.ipxe:client123
sanboot iscsi:172.31.69.149::::iqn.1992-08.com.netapp:sn.4e1a726d7ce711ef8dbdb5f20130e1ac:vs.3
PXE seems to see the volume just fine, and boot proceeds until I get this screen (see attached).
It’s a hang - could this possibly be due to the device order? I am not sure how to proceed.
Thanks,
Randy Seamans
