[ipxe-devel] i218v not working properly on ipxe intel driver

I was able to do iscsi boots with intel i218v NIC with ipxe version
dc19e6 (around April 2015).
But the latest version (30f96c) just no longer work waiting forever
for the link to set up.
Applying the INTEL_NO_PHY_RST fix appears to get this back to work as
the old dc19 version does.

My hardware build is with AsRock H97M-pro4. The device is shown up as:
00:19.0 0200: 8086:15a1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation
Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V
Not sure if my issue is board specific or applies to all i218-v chip
based solution.

However, even with the fix, the NIC driver coming with ipxe is still
causing trouble (still, the same in dc19 version).
When doing direct linux kernel boot, the initrd is kept being
corrupted, preventing the kernel to mount root device. Is there anyway
I can help to diagnose and fix this issue?

Thanks,
Rui
