[ipxe-devel] Native iPXE driver for Intel X710/XL710

I'm considering the Intel X710/XL710 (Fortville) series of 10G/40G Ethernet
controllers for a new system, but iPXE does not yet support them natively.
They appear totally different from any previous Intel silicon, and the
Intel-developed Linux driver (i40e) is likewise completely distinct from
other Intel NIC drivers.

Does anyone happen to be working on a native iPXE driver?
