[ipxe-devel] BUG: iscsi boot fails after recent commit

I have been building ipxe roms for pci passthrough interfaces in kvm.
Recently these roms stopped being able to boot via iscsi. If I try to use
(for example):

san-boot iscsi:192.168.0.1::::iqn.2016-01.com.example:disk

 it gives me the following error:

I ran git-bisect to find the offending commit and the following commit is
where it starts failing:

Anything prior to that iscsi boots without error.
