I built a debug version, but could not get any useful information so far.
This system does not have a serial port and capturing video output with a
mobile phone just brings a lot of garbage. It flashes by just too fast.

I noticed the system now does not hang but resets hard. Not sure if this is
caused by any changes in iPXE... I am pretty sure it hung some time ago.

I will investigate further. Can I send output to netcat or the like?
main(a){char*c=/*    Schoene Gruesse                         */"B?IJj;MEH"
"CX:;",b;for(a/* Chris get my mail address: */=0;b=c[a++];)
putchar(b-1/(/*               gcc -o sig sig.c && ./sig    */b/42*2-3)*42);}
