[ipxe-devel] ipxe question for booting Gentoo cd

Hi ??? ??,

normally there are special preparations necessary for booting
live-cd-media. I.e. for ubuntu there exist packages especially for doing
this an the ubuntu-initramfs is prepared for doing this with nfs and
cifs media.

For booting gentoo-live-cd, you need to set up a nfs-server for
exporting the lived-cd-image and an apropriate configuration for
ipxe-boot, so that the kernel finds the image after booting at the right
place.
