Thanks for quick reply!  Though Slax doesn't work, Slitaz works just fine.  Do 
you happen to know how Slax's kernel is different from Slitaz's kernel?  Thanks

The problem is that the kernel does not find the ISO. Since it does not know the 
ISO might be accessible via iSCSI, it does not check the iBFT. This means that 
Slax needs to be modified for this to work.
