Michael,
I'm pretty sure I've got the BIOS settings right, as you say the Intel
ROM works fine.
I've attached the image that I used to flash the original Intel ROM back
onto the card. I downloaded the ROM from
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19186&key
word=bootutil&lang=eng and used bootutil.exe to flash the PXE version.
I've also attached the ROM file I built with your patch.
I've had a lot of trouble with the HP machine. The only success I've
had is using iPXE on a flash drive. When I use iPXE from a CD I have
trouble booting.
Cheers
Andrew

From: Michael Brown [mailto:mbrown at fensystems.co.uk] Wow. It's expected
that no message will show up with that patch, but I'm surprised that it
doesn't show up as a bootable device in the BIOS. With the patch, the
*only* thing that the ROM does is to report itself as a bootable device.
Are there any relevant BIOS settings controlling expansion card PXE ROMs
that might be set wrongly? I know that the Intel ROM works, so this is
unlikely.
Could you send me the Intel ROM image that you flash onto the card?
Michael
