I tied to put the deb file in /tmp, /mnt/, I treid with tar.gz and zip file but nothing, still complaining about missing firmware. Is there a way to cat the cpio firmware file to the end of the initrd.gz? The installer seem not to find the firmware file.

I could fix it and upload the missing non-free firmware by adding the following line to my menu.ipxe:

initrd http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/firmware/buster/current/firmware.cpio.gz

Thanks Geert
