[ipxe-devel] EFI booting

Hello everybody,

this is my first try on PXE booting with EFI... So not sure whether or not
this is my fault. :D

My device has a network controller that identifies (via lspci) as:

Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI
Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 05)

Linux loads module r8169 for this device.

Booting via PXE my DHCP server assigns an address, and send the needed
information. The device downloads the boot file (Makefile target
bin-x86_64-efi/ipxe.efi) and displays this message:

iPXE initialising devices...

There is nothing more that happens. Any idea where to search for the culprit?
Thanks a lot!
