[ipxe-devel] esxi5 use ftp to install is very slow

That's weasel complaining.  Did you mayhaps see an error about BOOTIF or
something during boot?

You might consider trying the substitute esxboot efi executable:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xcat/files/yum/xcat-dep/esxboot-xcat-1.0.0-2.noarch.rpm/download
