Thanks.  I have ordered a cheap USB network adapter, and will be purchasing a 
copy of the Argon PXE software to investigate the MTU bug further.

Unfortunately not; you need to load iPXE via the PXE stack, otherwise the UNDI 
interface won't be available.

The time taken to download iPXE over the network shouldn't be more than a few 
seconds, even allowing for DHCP delays etc.
