iPXE can.  Two ways:

1. Specify a boot filename as well as the iSCSI root path.  iPXE will set up 
the iSCSI connection and then boot from the specified filename, rather than 
booting from the iSCSI target.

2. Set the options "skip-san" and "keep-san" and then use "sanboot".

3. (not yet implemented) Use the command "sanhook".

(gPXE can't do any of these; you'll need to use iPXE.)
